Oda Schaefer supports K5 Film´s productions from Berlin as a producer. She provides immense dramaturgical and creative knowledge as well as exellent contacts to Berlin-based talent.

Her studies of production at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles triggered her career switch from print to audiovisual media. In 1998, Oda Schaefer began to work as a Line Producer for Helkon Media AG. After gaining extensive experience in the field of script development, she went on to become an editor in RTL´s TV-Movie department in 1999, where she supervised the production of six TV-features. These include „Albtraum einer Ehe“ (production: Relevant, director: Johannes Fabrick) and „Ein Teenager flippt aus“ (production: ndf, director: Hannu Salonen). Furthermore she works as a consultant for the Vienna Script Forum.
