Our debut feature 'Nitschewo' (director Stefan Sarazin) premiered at the Hof Film Festival and enjoyed a global run of eleven festivals, winning the award for 'Best Film' at both the Verona Film Festival 2003 and the Tiburon International Film Festival 2005 in Sausalito, USA.
'Happy as One' (director Vanessa Jopp) was in the 'Official Selection' at the Berlinale 2006 and nominated for 'Best Feature Film' and 'Best Supporting Actress' by the German Film Academy. It was also screened during the Karlovy Vary Film Festival 2006, Montreal World Film Festival 2006 and the Copenhagen International Film Festival 2006 (where Heidrun Bartholomäus won 'Best Actress'), the 2nd International Eurasia Film Festival 2006 in Antalya and the Flanders Film Festival 2006 in Ghent.
The documentary 'Moharram - Waiting for the Dawn' (2005) was screened at the 22nd Kassel Documentary Film Festival in 2005, where it was nominated for the 'Golden Key Award'. It was also selected for the 18th Exground Film Festival 2005 and the 9th Istanbul International Meeting of Cinema and History Film Festival in December 2006.
The first Abnormal-Pictures production 'Blood Trails' (director Robert Krause) won the Audience Award at the 'Dead by Dawn' Film Festival 2006 in Scotland and the Fantasy Film Festival 2006 in Germany. 'Blood Trails' had its US Premiere during the Austin Fantastic Film Fest in September 2006.
